ABOUT ME

Meet Tem — DJ Static Sound

I go by Tem, short for Temitope, but most know me simply as DJ Static Sound. For more than two decades, I’ve been creating seamless blends, diverse musical experiences, and unforgettable moments for clients across the country.

My love for music started at an early age, but it was during college that I began turning that passion into something more. After purchasing my first set of CDJs, I transformed my dorm room into a makeshift DJ booth, spending countless hours mixing, experimenting, and developing the sound and style that would eventually become my signature.

It didn’t take long for that work to get noticed. My blends and ability to bring different sounds together caught the attention of influential members of the university community, leading to opportunities to provide music and entertainment for homecomings, social events, and campus celebrations. What started as a passion quickly became a craft and ultimately, a career.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of providing the soundtrack for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, and countless other special occasions throughout the country. Each event has reinforced what I’ve always believed: music has the power to set the tone, bring people together, and turn a moment into a memory.

That belief inspired me to take my passion beyond the DJ booth and create Static Sound Entertainment an entertainment experience designed to bring together exceptional music, professional service, lighting, special effects, and the details that make each celebration uniquely yours.

My goal is simple: to elevate your moments through music and create an experience you and your guests will remember long after the last song plays.
